3 WAYS TO ROCK YOUR WORLD (JBliss Guitar Studio)

Your string sister here has had a pretty eventful few weeks as a guitar player.  One could say that I “Rocked My World”! And I did this in 3 very unique ways. Check out this quick video clip...

The wonderful thing about being a guitar player is learning to play songs you love.  But there’s a whole different level of musical enjoyment when you share the music you love with those you love (and those who will really love you for it).

So once you are “Ready To Rock” (you’ve learned and mastered a song), here are 3 WAYS TO ROCK “YOUR WORLD”.

#1 - ROCK YOUR FAMILY

Whether it’s singing & playing “Happy Birthday”, serenading your spouse for your anniversary, or jamming every holiday or family get-together… playing guitar for your loved ones is still THE BEST musical experience there is.

My guitar student, Renay, got to serenade her husband for their anniversary a few months ago

#2 – ROCK YOUR COMMUNITY

This could be at a talent show, a school performance, a coffee house jam or even an actual gig.

10-year-old PJ recently won a summer talent show by playing & singing Bruno Mars’, “Talking To The Moon”.

#3 – ROCK SOCIAL MEDIA

With FB, Youtube, Instagram & even TikTok, there are so many ways to share the music that you’ve learned with the internet world. In fact, if someone misses you family event you can just share a clip online. This has become more special during these “social distancing” COVID times.  Even though the world is opening up, there are still those who will be unable to come see you perform.

Kendall played an original song for her family reunion earlier this summer. Those who couldn’t make it were thrilled to see the video online!

YOU CAN “ROCK YOUR WORLD!”

As you grow as a guitar player, I hope that you will not only look for, but CREATE opportunities to share your music with your world.  I’ll be cheering you on, every step of the way!
